Dear Margaret,
It's
been three years now since we took pity on Wayne and adopted him.
He has proved a faithful human, and we've have have made good progress
in his training. Charlie has taught him the proper way to greet
a cat with a feline nose-rub, and I have him trained to cuddle on
demand. There is one problem, though, we spend a whole week carefully
laying down a cushioning layer of fur on all of the carpets, seats
and beds (black fur on the light things, white on the dark - you
know how it works...) only for him to hoover them up every weekend!
We had a little
trouble earlier this year, we both had gum infections and had to
have some teeth taken out; but we're recovered now and even though
Wayne is increasing the dried food in our diets in place of those
lovely tins, we think we'll be fine.
Thanks again
for taking care of us until we found our pet human, and for giving
us an occasional place to stay when we need a holiday from him.
Love Angel.
