Animals who need loving homes

DOGS - CATS - OTHER ANIMALS

We are always looking for homes for a variety of animals. Animals come to us for a variety of reasons, from berievement or broken homes to neglect and cruelty. We seek to find each animal the right home, and as stated in our list of aims, we make no apology for putting the needs of the animal ahead of the needs of the would-be owner:

• For CATS, we prefer homes that are away from main roads and where the cats can be kept in at night as most cats killed in road accidents die during the night. We also prefer homes where the cat is not left alone for long periods, as this can encourage the animal to wander off in search of company.
• Similarly, for DOGS we prefer people not to take dogs if they are away from home for more than 4-5 hours. So many requests are received to take in dogs where the whole household goes out to work and who find that it doesn't work out.
• If you take on a small animal, we ask that you make proper time to clean out its living environment regularly.
• Large animals are only homed where owners live on site.

We hope that you will understand why we are so strict. By matching an animal's temprement to its new home surroundings we are not only looking out for the bests interests of the animal, but you will benefit more from your pet when it is happy.
